CDPE (Certified Distressed Property Expert®)
A Certified Distressed Property Expert® (CDPE) is a real estate professional with specific
understanding of the complex issues confronting the real estate industry. Through comprehensive
training and experience, CDPEs are able to provide solutions for homeowners facing hardships in
today's market.
The prospect of foreclosure can be financially and emotionally devastating, and often homeowners
proceed without guidance of any kind. The developers of the CDPE Designation believe that in
almost all cases, the best course of action for a homeowner in distress is to speak with a
well-informed, licensed real estate professional. They have the tools needed to help homeowners

These are some of the items Harlan and his crew take care of for us on our REO, Abandoned Property and Eviction Clean Ups; Janitorial services, yard clean up, debris removal, handyman services, securing and monitoring property, removal of vehicles, water craft, recreational vehicles of all sizes, custom secure pool covers, flammable and household hazardous waste excluding biological or meth-lab clean up.
REO Properties: Rekey/lock change outs. Board ups and related security issues. Complete winterization. Clean outs and thorough interior cleaning including steam cleaning carpeting. Interior repairs: plumbing, electrical, woodwork, doors, windows, lighting, heating/Ac system. Replacement of: carpet, linoleum, ceramic flooring , cabinetry, countertops. Painting. Mold remediation. Exterior repair/replacement of windows, doors, siding, roofing, decks, sprinkler system. Lawn care and snow plowing.
Scheduled Maintenance: We can stay with the property from the time of re-acquisition to the sale of the property maintaining the yard and landscape. We make periodic visits to ensure the property is secure and no squatters have moved in.
Interior cleanup includes: Bathrooms, kitchens [including appliances], fireplaces [chimney sweep excluded], ceiling fans & light fixtures, upper & lower level windows, window sills/baseboard, laundry rooms, closets, all common living areas, and garage [cleared out and swept clean]. We vacuum carpets and mop floors (steam cleaning & waxing are excluded from the janitorial packages, call for pricing).
Exterior cleanup includes: Grass cut, shrubs trimmed, weed-eating, raking, and edging of sidewalks and driveways. We will include low hanging tree branches up to 3” in diameter (a heavy duty tree trim would incur an additional charge). Yard debris removal is included in the 10 cubic yard haul-off.
